Pricing & ordering
Your price depends on how many bags you order and how far they travel. Enter your address and quantity and we show the exact delivered total — bags, delivery and sales tax — before you check out. There are no hidden fees added later.
Delivery minimums depend on the truck that brings your order. If the quantity you pick is below what we can deliver to your address, the order panel tells you the smallest order we can bring so you can adjust.
Checkout takes all major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Payments are processed securely by Square; we never see or store your full card number.
Email support@gotsandbags.com with your order reference as soon as possible. Changes are easiest before your order has been dispatched for delivery.
Delivery
We deliver throughout the Los Angeles area — the Westside and coast, the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys, Central LA, the South Bay, Long Beach and the Gateway Cities, and the Santa Clarita Valley. Enter your address to confirm delivery and see your price.
You choose your delivery day and time window at checkout from the days our delivery team is running. If a storm is in the forecast, order early — sandbags sell out fast once rain is on the way.
Sandbags are delivered to an accessible, ground-level spot at your address. Add placement notes at checkout — driveway, side yard, gate code — so the driver knows exactly where you want them.
No. As long as the driver can safely reach the drop spot you describe at checkout, you don't need to be there. We'll use the phone number you give us if there's a question on the day.
The sandbags
Yes. Every bag arrives filled with sand and ready to stack — no shovels, no sand pile in your driveway.
A filled sandbag weighs roughly 35–40 lb. That is light enough for one adult to carry and place, and heavy enough to stay put in running water.
For a typical doorway, plan on about 20–30 bags; a two-car garage door takes around 100–120 for a wall about a foot high. Our free sandbag calculator works it out for any length and height.
No — sandbags are not watertight. A well-built sandbag wall slows water down and redirects it around doors, garages and structures, which is what prevents most storm damage. Laying plastic sheeting on the water side of the wall improves the seal.
Keep them dry and out of direct sun. Polypropylene bags break down with prolonged UV exposure, so cover them or store them in a garage or shed and they will be ready for the next storm.
